Participation in the “Take Care of an Animal” program is your personal contribution to the conservation of the Earth’s biodiversity and the development of our zoo.

The zoo’s primary mission since its inception has been to preserve the biodiversity of our planet. When you take care of an animal, you help us in this noble cause.

At the current rate of civilization, about 10,000 species may disappear from the face of the Earth by 2050. Tw&Cross Zoo, along with other zoos around the world, is doing everything we can to save them.

Trusteeship is a great opportunity to take part in the preservation of rare species, to help us in the implementation of conservation programs.

The Take Care of an Animal program gives guardians a chance to feel involved in the conservation cause, to participate in the life of Tw&Cross Zoo and its inhabitants, and to see concrete results of their activities. Guardianship means to help your favorite animals.

The guardians have now joined together in an informal community, the Friends of Tw&Cross Zoo Club .

There are 5 levels of participation in the program:

  1. individual (donate up to $1,000 per year)
  2. Partner (donation of $1,000 to $3,000 per year)
  3. Representative (donation from 3 to 7 thousand dollars a year)
  4. Honorary (donation from $7,000 to $10,000 a year)
  5. Presidential (donation of $10,000 or more per year)

How to choose the animal?

The Tw&Cross Zoo now houses about 6,000 animals from about 1,100 species of the world’s fauna. Each animal is unique and inimitable. You can take into care any animal you like and that corresponds to your financial capabilities.

The cost of guardianship is calculated from the animal’s daily food allowance.

If you have already selected an animal and want to know the cost of animal care, you need to send your request by e-mail, call by phone, or leave an application online.
